My Project
Our students are naturally curious, imaginative, and full of energy—and we’re channeling that excitement into learning about the world around us, especially our environment and climate! This project combines hands-on, engaging tools like Pokémon toys and cards, Matchbox cars, stickers, slime, mini building blocks, Crayola Silly Scents dough, and more to inspire play-based learning tied to important environmental themes.
Each item serves a purpose in our climate-conscious classroom:
Pokémon cards and toys will be used to create creature cards that represent real-world endangered species and ecosystems.
Matchbox cars help students explore transportation's impact on pollution and brainstorm eco-friendly alternatives.
Mini blocks and dough are perfect for building model communities that prioritize sustainability—like cities with clean energy sources or nature preserves.
Slime and Silly Scents dough add sensory engagement during activities like modeling weather patterns or creating representations of the water cycle.
Stickers and small rewards help motivate and celebrate climate-friendly behaviors and green learning milestones.
With these tools, our classroom becomes a lab of creativity and climate exploration. Students learn through play, make connections to real environmental challenges, and start thinking like climate-conscious problem solvers.
