This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students are hard working, diligent, and determined to succeed. This will be the fifth year that our students are participating in the Academic Pentathlon competition, and the theme for this year is Climate Change. If you are unfamiliar with the competition, there are five different themed subject areas that middle school students learn, study, and compete in locally (and hopefully nationally!!).
The supplies that are donated and gifted will help supplement our learning about Climate Change and give us hands on learning experience that we will be able to use during the Academic Pentathlon competition this year.
Through this donation, students will be able to perform climate experiments in the classroom while learning through supplementary materials purchased through Teachers Pay Teachers.
