My Project

We are seeking support to equip our sustainable community classroom—a repurposed shipping container—with essential handwashing stations to ensure cleanliness and uphold safety protocols. The installation of sinks for handwashing is vital for maintaining sanitation, especially in a hands-on learning environment where students will be actively engaged in construction and environmental stewardship.

Students will participate in every phase of the project, gaining practical experience in sustainable construction while deepening their understanding of material lifecycles and the significance of sustainability.

From preparing the container to installing eco-friendly features like bamboo panels and critical infrastructure, this initiative fosters both skill-building and environmental responsibility.

Upon completion, the classroom will serve as a central hub for community learning, hosting workshops and events that emphasize sustainability, cultural connection, and environmental education. The project promotes teamwork and leadership among students while creating a shared space that strengthens community bonds and encourages collaboration.

By repurposing the container and integrating sustainable solutions, this initiative embodies innovation and environmental stewardship, leaving a lasting impact on students and the broader community. Support through funding, material donations, or volunteer efforts is crucial in bringing this vision to life.
