it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the pleasure of working in the BEST school in our country. This year I have 18 beautiful Pre-K students. My students are creative, eager to learn and full of excitement. They love hands-on activities that engage their creativity and quest for knowledge. They work hard every day to meet expectations, and they meet the challenge because of their passion and interest to learn about how and why things are. They have inspired me to go beyond any limits. My students are eager to take reading and math to the next level by integrating technology and literacy!
My Project
We are in need of six one click mice for our Pre-K students and one small laptop (touch screen). Our students are having problems controlling the mice and selecting their answers while working on their Waterford program as well as other programs on the computer. These mice and touch screen computer will help the students respond correctly as well as strengthen their wrist. We are also asking for one more laptop to add an additional center in the classroom where the students can work on the laptop wireless and use the screen to trace the letters presented to them on their Waterford program as well as other programs we use in the classroom.
These items will help our students a great deal to enhance their fine-motor skills as well as learning.
