My Students

Isn't it fun to look at pictures from the past? We have already gone on two field trips, and both times I thought, "I wish I had a camera to take pictures!" Our class would like a camera to record some special moments in second grade.

My incredible second graders attend a public school in a large metropolitan area in Wisconsin.

Our school has a science focus, so we incorporate as much science as we can into all subjects. The students absolutely love to go on field trips, and I would love for them to have pictures to remember the fun times.

My Project

My students need a digital camera and a carrying case to record their adventures on field trips and in the classroom. In second grade we also learn about the community. I would so love to take pictures around our metropolitan city to show the students. Many of my students have never seen Lake Michigan, yet our city is on the great lake. Also, many students have not seen the incredible buildings in our downtown area. It would be fantastic to learn about the community using OUR community through pictures.

Being able to photograph our experiences and use the pictures to continue to help the students learn would be wonderful.

Having a digital camera for our class to use whenever the moment arrives would be fantastic. Allowing the kids to have a pictorial history of their lives in 2nd grade, using a digital camera, would be a wonderful keepsake. Your generous donation would allow my students to explore their community and record their precious times in second grade using a digital camera.
