My students are lively, busy, creative, and love to come to school. Even though they are from an area in Michigan that does not offer many opportunities, they love to come to school. Many receive free or reduced-price lunch. Day to day life is challenging for them. Come sunshine, rain, sleet, or snow, they show up and my classroom is full.
My students are six and seven years old and learn best through hands-on learning.
They love to absorb knowledge, whether it's from a chalkboard or technology. They thrive on learning when they are engaged and have numerous opportunities in school that they do not have at home.
My Project
The use of headphones with mics will optimize virtual learning for our first-grade students. While cutting out background noise and allowing soft voices to be heard. Learning from home is different, it’s often our student's first time in school.
Using a set of headphones with an attached mic will give ease of listening, clarity of speech, and less background noise for all classroom participants.
Headphones help keep all students on the same level and encourage them to pay attention and interact with the teacher because they can hear every word.
