This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will have access to supplies which allow them to increase their understanding of the texts we read in class, writing and collaboration skills.
By having consistent access to these supplies students will be able to work toward increasing their instructional reading levels which will allow have a competitive advantage when applying to high school's in fall of eighth grade.
Students will be able to to use the post it posters and markers to collaborate on group assignments and their work will be able to be displayed immediately. The folders will be used to hold supplemental resources for students to access throughout the school year. Essential writing materials such as pencils, erasers, pens and highlighters will be used constantly throughout the day and provided for students to keep as needed.
