Help me give my students a real whiteboard and not the repurposed showerboard we're using now. I cannot erase it easily, and students have a hard time reading a dirty board.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a Title I high school where many of our students face daily challenges beyond the classroom. As an educator, I strive to provide them with a safe, engaging, and well-equipped learning environment. Unfortunately, our current whiteboards are actually repurposed showerboards glued onto old chalkboards. These surfaces are difficult to write on and nearly impossible to erase without constant use of whiteboard cleaning spray, which adds up quickly in cost.
A real, high-quality whiteboard would make a huge difference in my classroom.
It would allow me to model lessons clearly, encourage student participation without frustration, and maintain a clean, professional teaching space. My students deserve the same quality tools as those in better-funded schools, and this simple upgrade will support clearer instruction, stronger engagement, and a better overall learning experience.
With your help, we can erase this barrier to learning—literally—and create a classroom where both teaching and learning can shine.
