This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom come to school each day with a smile and an eager attitude to learn. These supplies will help me to provide them with an exceptional education!

The school that I teach in is a Title I school, located in Phoenix. The students who attend come from low socioeconomic homes. My school tries their best to bless each student with as many supplies as we can at the beginning of the year, since the families cannot afford to purchase them on their own. My school also provides free breakfast and lunch to each and every student. The light in the kids eyes as they learn is something I have never seen before. They truly love coming to school where they are able to learn and be loved at the same time. I want to continue to help give them the education they deserve!

My Project

The materials that I asked for, the ring light and the echo dot, will help make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow them to be able to see me clearly. With the ring light, my face will be shown clearer and brighter. I also asked for the echo dot so that way I can play background music for the students as they enter into the virtual classroom. When the students come back to school, I can play calming music during center time and throughout the day for them to listen to.
