This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students LOVE school! They love to come to school. They love to come into THEIR classroom. They love to work with their classmates. They love to learn.

Kids deserve a great, comfortable and safe environment.

They need materials and their setting to be harmless and happy. They need to know that they are being taken care of and feel good about their surroundings.

My children need to have a classroom that is pleasant and allows them to grow and learn everyday.

My Project

A carpet cleaning machine would make a huge difference in the daily lives of our students. As teachers, we are responsible to provide a clean, safe place for our students to learn comfortably and without worries of germs and dirt. We spend a lot of time on our classroom rug. It also is visually engaging. With so many of our students susceptible to allergies and asthma the rug needs to be as clean as possible. It's not easy being 'clean', but with a carpet cleaner we are trying to keep everybody health and happy. Its also ecologically responsible to maintain a rug.
