This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title I elementary school. We have over 800 students, and every student attends the art classroom. The Clorox wipes are needed to keep the tables in the art classroom clean.

After COVID, our school district was able to budget for cleaning wipes.

Currently, these wipes are no longer affordable for the school to provide.

My goal is to ensure that students wipe down their spaces before leaving the classroom. Cleaning the art tables between classes helps reduce the spread of germs in our elementary school. Cleaning up after a project encourages a sense of ownership and responsibility for the art classroom for the school year.
