My Students

I coach a diverse group of 6th-8th grade students in a rural county in Florida. The majority of my students fall within a lower socioeconomic category and face many obstacles in life. Despite the many adversities they may experience, my student athletes are motivated to grow both athletically and academically. Our program strives to provide each student with opportunities to maximize their potential and develop their talents.

My Project

I have requested materials and supplies such as disinfecting wipes, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, and an air purifier to help keep the air and surfaces in our locker room clean and sanitized. The requested materials will be used daily in our locker room to wipe and spray surfaces down after use, keep hands sanitized and maintain germ free air. Having these supplies will help keep our student athletes healthy and help in preventing the spread of illnesses. Maintaining healthy student athletes will promote student involvement and participation within our program.
