My 2nd grade full inclusion classroom is comprised of 25 students who vary in need to include students who do not speak English, who struggle academically to those who excel in all areas. My classroom also includes individuals with specific health conditions to include asthma, Type 1 Diabetes and allergies.
My Project
Adding an air purifier into the classroom will help keep students even safer when returning to school. As our classroom does not have windows that open, adding an air purifier will enhance the cleanliness of the room and the overall air quality. This will positively impact student health not only for the students with prior health conditions, but for all students and staff in the room.
Many families are apprehensive about students returning to learning in person.
Adding an air purifier to the classroom provides an additional opportunity for kids to stay healthy while learning in the classroom setting. The more health precautions we can add, the more successful the transition back to school will be!
