My Project
Our classroom has a very special friend—a snapping turtle who teaches us about responsibility, biology, and the wonders of nature every day. But keeping our turtle’s habitat clean and healthy is no small task. We are in need of a high-quality water filter to maintain safe, clean water in the tank.
A proper filtration system is essential to our turtle’s health and well-being.
Without it, the water gets murky quickly, and harmful bacteria can build up. With your help, we can purchase a turtle-specific filter that will make maintenance easier and provide a more natural, comfortable environment for our shelled companion.
This filter will also support our students’ learning. They love observing how ecosystems work. A clean tank means a happy turtle—and even more opportunities for science, empathy, and hands-on care.
