This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a kindergarten/first grade split class this school year and carpet time is essential. The carpet I have now is old and dirty and even after cleaning it multiple times it is still dirty! This new rug will provide my little ones with a clean and safe area to sit. The majority of our instruction, story time, and song time happens while the kids are on the carpet. I want to provide a clean environment for them. The happy faces on it is an added bonus to brighten their days!
