This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students currently have tables that they sit at, which does not allow them to store anything.

My students do not have anywhere to keep their books, notebooks, or supplies.

They would greatly benefit from having plastic organizers to keep their books and other supplies close to their seats. This way all of their supplies would be readily available to them throughout the day. This would allow them to maintain their ability to focus and be successful during class. 5th graders need to feel comfortable and secure in their environment, and this will allow them to feel that they belong and that they can be successful. These organizers will also help us by saving time during transitions between lessons and to help keep our classroom clean and organized.
