Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and full of energy. They love learning through hands-on activities, small group collaboration, and a little friendly competition. They do their best work in a classroom that is clean, structured, and full of encouragement.

To create a classroom where students feel motivated, supported, and safe, I’m requesting materials for three key areas.

I’m asking for supplies like tabletop whiteboards, dry-erase markers, bins, timers, storage trays, clipboards, and organizational tools to set up inviting and functional small group areas. These spaces allow me to differentiate instruction and give students focused attention in a supportive setting.

Items like disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, and cleaning spray will help us keep our learning environment safe and healthy. Having these supplies on hand ensures we can stay focused on learning without unnecessary interruptions.

To keep students motivated and reinforce positive behavior, I’m also requesting fun and affordable rewards for our classroom prize box. Items like small toys, pencils, erasers, stickers, and fidgets go a long way in celebrating student effort, responsibility, and growth.

This project will help me build a classroom where students can learn in clean, well-organized small groups and stay motivated through consistent, positive reinforcement. Every supply plays a role in helping my students feel cared for, successful, and excited to come to school each day.
