My Project

My students are so awesome. They come to school every day ready to learn. Despite their best efforts, they struggle with emotional and learning difficulties.

As they are growing and developing, they continue to struggle with basic hygiene awareness and skills.

As an educator, it is my job to collaborate with their parents and assist with educating my students towards being healthy and responsible in their everyday hygiene routine.

Good personal hygiene plays a critical role in promoting a positive self-image and reinforces healthy habits. Many of our students lack the basic necessities to maintain good hygiene and hygiene practices.

We encourage good hygiene strategies at school and want love to extend them to our students' home lives. We have a high number of students who live in poverty and cannot afford deodorant, hairbrushes, kleenex and sanitizer. It's these necessities no child should go without.

Band aids are an important part of taking care of your body. Having these multi-toned band aids adds the extra security of having something that matches who you are. A well-dressed wound heals faster so we can focus on other things. Hand sanitizer also helps keep germs from spreading, keeping us healthy and in school.

Help me give my students resources to be confident, healthy and clean each day. They are building lifelong health-management skills that are so important to learn at this age.
