This is a bright and active group of five and six-year-old children. They love to create and tell stories. They love to read and be read to. They are quickly learning to work together, which is a vital skill in our world. My children work in small groups and independently throughout the day. This helps them learn to focus and improve self-control issues. Small group activities that let us get up and move help our ADHD tendencies stay under control. We need real reasons to move and stretch.
We grow in all areas by practicing and playing together.
Writing throughout the day in science, social studies, math, and even in art helps us in so many ways. We get noisy, but we learn so much together. We need supplies to grow as readers, writers, and illustrators. We need to show the colors of our ideas. We need ways to be active and help us learn to control our ADHD tendencies. There is so much to learn.
My Project
There are hundreds of little pieces to kindergarten. It is important for these pieces to be organized and visible to our not yet readers. These show box sized containers will let us arrange that safely.
Keeping our hands, tables and manipulatives clean is vital.
This hand sanitizer will help us do jus that. The Clorox wipes will let us wipe the tables and all common tools frequently to, hopefully control the spread of our germs. Kindergarten is where we learn to share. We also try to learn WHAT to shaw. Germs should not be shared. Unfortunately, we seem to share them the most some days.
