My Project
The students in 4th through 8th grade at my school are playing instruments through band. 4th graders are experimenting and finding what works for them. 5th -8th grade, they are picking an instrument and growing in their musicianship.
All of these students have individual instruments that need care and supplies to work. In 4th grade, all the students at my school are introduced to different instruments in band, they spend time learning the clarinet, trumpet, flute, and percussion! Part of learning the clarinet is reeds. Each student needs their own and they cannot be shared and need to be replaced when they break.
5th grade through 8th grade they are playing their instruments many times a week to every day. Things break, things wear down or get dirty and if I don't have the supplies to replace or fix these things they just get worse. Please help us to get the supplies to play and upkeep our instruments!
