This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The purpose of the “Clean House” project is to receive materials to help keep my classroom clean without. Because my school is a little short-staffed in the custodial department, I do not want any excuses in doing my students the disservice of having a clean band room.
Thus, with these cleaning materials, like the vacuum and the push broom, I can not only help keep the band room carpets and floors clean but teach students about the art of cleanliness by giving them responsibilities that will turn my band room into their band room.
This will teach them appreciation and respect for all environments they are in.
