This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My bilingual kindergarten students are creative, inquisitive, and love to learn! My students live in an urban, low income area. Their families are doing everything they can to provide their children with the necessities of life during these difficult times, to which we can all relate. We have transitioned from remote learning to in-person learning, and my students come to school ready to learn. Providing my students with appropriate materials is key for their academic success.
My Project
My students need to wash their hands often to keep germs away. They also need snacks so they can concentrate on their work.
My students get hungry in the afternoon and need snacks to keep their mind off their grumbling tummies and concentrate on their work!
My students also need to wash their hands often to kill germs which can make them sick and miss school.
Having snacks at hand when my students get hungry will help them energize and help them stay on task. Having hand soap to wash germs away during bathroom breaks is also important. Please help my students stay alert and germ free by donating to this project. Thank you.
