Clean, Fun Classroom for Better Learning

Help me give my students a vacuum cleaner, personal Pete the Cat books to take home, and a mouse for each student to use with their chromebook. We also need reading resources.

My Students

I have a fun group of students with a wide range of needs. They are a loving, caring, group who work together to accomplish goals. They love to work hard and they are eager to learn and grow. We work on spreading kindness wherever we go.

In our class, we want to be like lighthouses, lighting the way for others, and helping them find their way in life.

Our class strives to support others through example and love. I have an amazing group of kids!

My Project

First, due to our custodians being sick, my students have had to work extra hard to keep our room clean. We are requesting a vacuum cleaner to keep our classroom clean when others are not able to do so. I also want to keep the keyboards clean so things stay tidy and safe. I am requesting a mouse for each student so that they can use their computers more easily, which will help them focus more on learning.

Due to the chunk of school students missed in Kindergarten, there are still a lot of educational holes.

I want to encourage students to enjoy reading. I plan to read "Pete the Cat" to the students and talk about having a positive attitude regardless of what life brings us. I believe this activity will encourage a love of reading, as well as thinking positively. Hopefully, it will give them something to hold to during these crazy times. After the activity is completed, each child can have their very own copy to bring home. I would also like to get reading resources for my small groups, to help my struggling readers have an extra boost.
