My Students

My students are an amazing group of kids. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth grade school located in rural California. It serves 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

Our school has a strong academic and athletic culture.

I want to maintain our strength in these areas by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.

My Project

I am requesting cleaning supplies such as soap and sponges, snacks and storage baskets.

There is something that the Covid pandemic has taught us and that is to be more attentive to cleaning and washing hands.

Before all recesses and breaks, my students have been washing hands and all surfaces are wiped down. I am requesting soap and white sponges to replenish our supplies to keep us clean and healthy.

In addition, I am requesting snacks. I have chosen some healthy snacks to keep kids fueled and some candy to give as rewards for being good citizens.

The baskets were requested to keep all the supplies organized to help keep our environment orderly which helps keep students focused.
