My Project

My preschool autism classroom is a busy, active space where young children learn, play, and grow every day. As you can imagine, our classroom rug gets a lot of use—and a lot of spills. from snack time accidents to messy art projects and sensory play, our rug takes a beating. Unfortunately, we do not have access to regular deep cleaning, and over time, this affects both the cleanliness and the safety of our learning space.

I’m requesting a rug shampooer so I can maintain a clean, healthy environment for my students.

This tool will allow me to clean and sanitize our carpet regularly, reducing allergens and preventing the spread of germs. For many of my students—especially those with sensory needs or allergies—having a fresh, clean rug makes a big difference in their comfort and ability to focus.

I plan on sharing this with my three other colleagues in their autism classrooms. This simple addition will help ensure our classrooms remain a welcoming and safe space for exploration, movement, and connection. Your support will help our students learn in an environment that reflects the care and dignity they deserve. Thank you so much for helping us create cleaner classrooms!
