This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I ask for will create a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment for our Pre-k classroom. The transition activity sticks will provide fun transitions, helping students stay focused and engaged throughout the day. My kids love creative movements, and I just know this will give them so much joy. The party favors toys will be used for my treasure box and serve as rewards, encouraging positive behavior and adding excitement to special occasions. My children look forward to treasure box day every Friday, and always say it's what they look forward to the most. Last year, our floor became extremely dirty, and often found ourselves not having enough time to sweep then mop the floors with such a full and busy schedule. The broom and dustpan set and vacuum mop cleaner will ensure that classroom remains a clean and safe space for learning. The sensory bottles will aid in teaching social-emotional skills, offering a calming tool for children to express their feelings in the cozy corner. The cordless glue gun will be used for various creative projects, fostering creativity and safety within the classroom. Finally, the book bins will help maintain an organized space, making it easy for students to access books to certain themes and topics. I believe the feelings and behavior inside the classroom reflect based on the environment itself. All my children deserve to feel safe, excited, and eager to be in the classroom, and with these simple tools, it can increase my children experience tenfold!
