My Project

I teach an incredible group of kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade students with special needs who are eager to learn and grow. They thrive when given hands-on, interactive experiences that make learning engaging and accessible. My students have diverse learning styles and benefit greatly from tactile, visual, and movement-based activities that support their foundational skills in reading and math. However, maintaining a clean, organized, and structured environment is just as essential to their success. A well-maintained classroom allows students to focus, feel comfortable, and participate fully in their learning.

The requested materials will have a direct impact on my students' daily learning experience.

The Clorox wipes, Febreze spray, and antibacterial hand soap will keep our classroom germ-free, reducing absences due to illness and providing a safe space for learning. The magnetic tiles, phonics sorting games, and wooden lacing beads will enhance literacy skills by allowing students to build words, recognize letter patterns, and strengthen fine motor skills. The math manipulatives, such as the ten-frame set, frog balance scale, and number bonds magnets, will help students visualize numbers, solve problems, and develop a deep understanding of foundational math concepts. Additionally, the classroom caddies, whiteboards, and craft trays will keep materials organized, allowing students to access resources independently and stay engaged.

With these tools, my students will have the opportunity to explore, create, and build confidence in their learning. Hands-on materials will make reading and math more interactive, while a clean and organized classroom will foster a safe, welcoming environment. By supporting this project, you are helping my students stay healthy, engaged, and empowered to reach their full potential. Thank you for making a difference in their education!
