This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These STEM kits will allow my students to not only build and design their own machines, but also understand and utilize clean energy. As they explore the field of Computer Science, students will be able make connections between engineering and environmental science.

Using these kits, my students will become mechanical engineers as they build solar powered devices and learn various ways to use clean energy.

I plan to use these kits as the start of a new field in our Computer Science class. Students have learned how to code, how to design 3D models, and use AI as a tool for their success. Now they get to step into a new role and learn new ways to take better care of our environment.
