This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students often drop various items on the floor, such as pencil shavings and other small things that are difficult to pick up. Additionally, leaves and debris from outside are tracked into the classroom whenever the door is opened.
We are in need of a new broom, dustpan, and vacuum to help keep our floor clean and tidy.
At our school, the vacuum is used every other day, so if something gets on the floor right after it has been vacuumed, we have to wait at least a day before it can be vacuumed again. It would be very helpful to have the option to quickly vacuum the carpet in our classroom as needed.
