Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how caring, curious, and eager to learn my students are every day. They take pride in their classroom and treat it like a second home, always looking for ways to help one another and keep our space welcoming. It’s important to me that they not only grow academically, but also learn life skills like responsibility and respect for shared spaces. That’s why we work together to keep our room clean and safe. When students feel healthy and comfortable, they are more focused, energized, and ready to learn. Their sense of ownership over our environment strengthens their confidence and teamwork. I’m proud of the kindness and accountability they show every day.
Having tissues, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes in our classroom will go a long way in supporting their learning.
These supplies will help us reduce germs, stay healthy, and maintain a clean workspace where everyone can do their best thinking. When students have what they need to stay well, they miss fewer days and stay more engaged. Clean hands and clear noses may seem like small things, but they have a big impact on a student’s ability to concentrate and participate fully. These materials also help reinforce daily routines that teach care for oneself and others. With your support, my students can continue to thrive in a safe, respectful environment.
