Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are passionate and inquisitive in their learning. They crave creative ways to engage in the new material they learn. Moving around our classroom safely will be of utmost priority as we return back to campus. I want my entire class to have clean fresh air as we adjust to a normal.
My Project
Having an air purifier in our classroom will ensure that we keep a safe and clean class environment every day. Our classroom is in an outdoor space with poor ventilation and windows that do not open to provide for air flow. We can use our air purifier to create healthy air flow.
We will use our science knowledge to learn about how the air purifier works and mimics what happens outside in our natural environment.
I think the kids will really understand germs and how to stay clean and healthy with new knowledge of how air particles work and travel around our breathing space.
