This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are curious, inquisitive, and excited learners in the classroom.
We have had the same classroom carpet for the last 8 years!
Despite having it cleaned every year, it is stained with markers, crayons, and many spilled drinks from years of first graders.
My students deserve a new, clean carpet to sit on during their learning. We use our classroom rug for the majority of the school day. It fosters community, learning new skills, and creativity. It is so important to continue to develop our confident and curious learners!
