My Students
My school is a part of Michigan’s largest public education system. We have approximately one hundred students in our kindergarten program. Over ninety percent of those students are receiving instruction virtually.
My goal is to ensure that all children, especially those in highest need, have access to high-quality early learning and development programs and exit kindergarten prepared for success.
My students are motivated to learn, enthusiastic, creative and learn best by doing. They are so thrilled to finally get the chance to attend "big kid school." This is their chance to shine, and they look forward to school with excitement, energy, and gusto!
I absolutely love being a kindergarten teacher. I love seeing little faces light up with a smile when I greet them every morning. What I love most about being a kindergarten teacher is that I see the difference I make in my students' lives every single day.
My Project
When it comes to making sure school is a safe environment, the importance of cleanliness in school cannot be overlooked. A school is a place for education and it’s also a place where kids can socialize and develop skills that will help them later in life.
I am asking for some cleaning supplies to help me keep my classroom in a constant state of cleanliness for my students.
Now, more than ever, I want my students to feel like they are always walking into a clean and safe environment. By having a vacuum cleaner, air purifier, broom, and mop in my classroom I will be able to quickly stay on top of any messes that might be created and even daily cleaning. This will allow me to keep the room clean, smelling fresh and a provide a safe environment for my students.
