Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a wonderful group of first graders. They are smart, hard working and loving. When I am teaching whole group, I like to have my students sit on my large carpet for better engagement. However, like any carpet, it gets messy! From dirt, grass or anything that they have touched goes right on the carpet. I want them to be able to sit comfortably on a clean surface.
The cleaning wipes would benefit the classroom also with their tables.
Using glue, crayons and markers becomes a mess on their writing surface. I also provide them a snack each day and it can become a sticky mess!
The wipes for the white boards would benefit greatly! The boards are used daily and have become an eyesore. Having a clean, white surface would be a blessing!
