it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last winter, I started to get our classroom organized. It made such a difference in student learning. Having a clean and organized classroom is so important.
A tidy classroom reduces distractions and creates a conducive environment for concentration and learning.
We recently organized a lot of classroom supplies into storage bins and labeled the bins so that students would be able to find whatever then need, and it made such a difference (Organization Matters). Students became more independent and appreciated that they were able to get up and get a pen and know exactly where to find one. For this reason, asking for more storage bins as well as smaller tables to enhance our small classroom space. We are also asking for a printer cart and hanging picture frames to display our student work.
Organized spaces minimize hazards like tripping over clutter or not being able to find supplies. A clean classroom can contribute to a positive atmosphere, boosting morale and reducing stress for both students and teachers. We are asking for a vacuum, floor steamer, wipes, and soap so that we can keep our classroom and ourselves clean.
