This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need a classroom that is clean after certain activities they participate in. For example, we have classroom parties and art projects that can get messy. There are cleaning materials that help get paint off their desks and the floor. There are wipes and good paper towels that we can use to clean up after ourselves. This will teach students how to clean things properly and how to value our school materials. There are also materials such as spoons, forks and plates that students can use for STEM activities and classroom parties. Students will benefit from these resources because they won't have to use water and paper to clean their desks, they will have the real cleaning products to maintain a healthy and clean learning environment.

By having these materials students won't have to worry about having resources in keeping their spaces clean.

They will also have materials they can use for both activities and parties. For example they will be able to use plates for paint tray and to put treats they bring from home for a classroom party. Students will be able to engage in their learning with clean desks.
