Clean and Confident: Providing Deodorant Options for Pubescent Scholars

Help me give my students deodorant wipes and sprays to help them maintain their hygiene and confidence at school.

My Project

In today's age, adolescents are more insecure than ever, and rightfully so. Students, especially in middle school, tend to point out every flaw and imperfection in themselves and others, which leads to a significant decline in confidence while at school. Due to the increase in the consumer price index by 7.8% (4.1% higher than the average for the United States), over 85% of our student population qualifies for Free and Reduced Lunch and several families are currently experiencing homelessness. Therefore, our scholars are often unable to obtain supplies for basic hygiene, including deodorant.

By offering our low-income scholars deodorant at school, we not only help keep them clean and healthy but also support their social-emotional needs.

This leads to increased attendance, decreased bullying in schools, and an overall more pleasant experience in classrooms for our scholars and their teachers.
