My Students
I teach third grade in a high-poverty school in Georgia. I serve students with various abilities, including gifted, intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbances, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disabilities.
Many of my students are far below grade level.
Despite the challenges, my third graders are very enthusiastic learners who particularly love reading and science. They are a group of hardworking, kind kids who are excited about school and love learning new things. I want to give them the best chance possible.
My Project
This air purifier will be used to help purify the air in our classroom to help eliminate germs and viruses. It will help put our minds at ease while we are learning.
Clean and purified air will help all of us breathe easier while we are together.
We need an air purifier for our class. The purifier is designed to remove germs, pollen, odors, dust, and various other air particles. COVID is a concern in my 3rd-grade classroom because students are too young to be vaccinated. Students will use this air purifier to help reduce their stress while working in the classroom.
