My Students
We are starting our third year teaching together in a 3rd grade ICT classroom. We try our best to make sure every student has equal opportunities to discover a love of learning. Our students are unique, inquisitive, compassionate, and creative with a variety of academic needs and learning styles.
Many of our culturally diverse students are affected by seasonal allergies, thus, they are more prone to respiratory infections.
We want to give them a healthy start to the school year! Our children deserve to have a clean, healthy environment for learning. This is even more important during the uncertain times of COVID-19.
My Project
With the risk of COVID-19, returning to the classroom is unsettling and worrisome. Returning to in-person teaching is important; however, we MUST provide the safest environment possible for our students! According to the CDC, when used along with other best practices (masks, social distancing, etc), operating an air purifier should be part of our protection plan.
Having this medical grade air purifier, which replaces 100% of the air in our classroom every hour, will help keep our students protected from the COVID-19 virus.
An air purifier will provide an extra layer of protection to make returning to the classroom safer for everyone. While an air purifier will not eliminate the COVID-19 virus, it certainly will help to stop the spread of it. Keeping everyone happy, healthy, and safe during these uncertain times is our goal!
