Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students began Kindergarten virtually this year. All though not ideal, they have been doing an amazing job. I love how we have been building relationships from afar and learning the foundations skills necessary to have a successful year.

Our learners have maintained a positive attitude and try hard to actively participate and show what they know.

They have learned to navigate school and submit videos and PDF to showcase all that they know. I am extremely proud of them and can't wait to meet them in person.

My Project

As we transition from the virtual classroom to in person learning, creating a safe and healthy learning environment is critical. It is important for me to provide a learning environment that fosters a positive social and academic setting.

My students and I will spend many hours together each day, and I want to give students their best chance for focusing on academic success instead of worrying about the safety of our classroom.

I am requesting an air purifier in order to provide clean, purified air for our classroom. My students and their families will find comfort knowing their health and safety are being cared for while at school.
