Clay to Learn the Digestive System

Help me give my students clay to model the human digestive system. will use recycle two liter body as the body cavity and the different colors of clay for each organ of the system.

FULLY FUNDED! Dr. Hartwick's classroom raised $493

This project is fully funded

My Project

When students use clay, they are using their fine motor skills, creative thinking, while learning. The books will give them images of the organs and their functions. By using different colors of clay they are able to differentiate each organ and see how each relate to others by size and placement within the human body.

Because they are using clay, they will be off their cell phones and actively taking part in their learning.

The mind will not forget what the hands have learned. When they apply the skills and knowledge in more than one way, they will maintain it longer.
