Help me give my students assorted model magic to create hot chocolate mugs while learning basic clay techniques like, coil, sphere, and the creation of a pinchpots in art.
I love that when my students see me in the hallway they call me Mrs. Art Teacher and say hello. They also ask what project they will be doing next and can't wait to come to art class. My students are special because they come from culturally diverse backgrounds and are eager to learn about the arts.
I make it my mission to choose art activities with bright colors that help bring happiness.
I also incorporate activities using social-emotional learning strategies which help bring calm, joy, and relaxation to my students. They are also enthusiastic learners.
I have requested assorted color model magic clay so my students can create clay mugs using coil, spheres, pinch, and pinch pot techniques to make a colorful clay hot chocolate mug which consists of air dry clay.
Crayola Model Magic is wonderful clay for my students since it doesn’t require a kiln.
Students will have a wonderful time creating this special beautiful hot chocolate mug as a keepsake.
Students will have exposure to clay techniques which they can use for future clay experiences.
