My Project
Learning to create with clay is one of the most amazing, fun, and popular experiences that happens in an elementary art classroom. At my new school, I have a great kiln but no clay or glaze. The materials I am requesting would be put to immediate use this school year as I would love to have the ability to introduce ceramic projects for all grades, preK-5th.
Students love taking a ball of moist clay and learning how to shape and transform it into an amazing and unique piece of art!
The clay and glaze I have requested would allow me to create projects for every single student at my school. Example projects include clay sea turtles and birds, pinch and coil pots, and so many others. Please help me make ceramics happen this year for my amazing art students!
