Our smart and engaging students are interested in expanded opportunities. They want to explore their ideas with hands-on projects that allow them to develop and solve problems in a way that reflects the nature of such context in real life. Our students only see possibilities in the world despite the many obstacles they face outside the classroom. Our students are bright, engaging, clever and believe in themselves. As their teacher, I am committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities to have fun.
My Project
We want to build and work more with our hands. My students love to manipulate objects and feel forms take shape as they get their hands dirty.
Currently our only way to build is by using play-doh and we never get to keep our projects or paint them when we are done.
These tools would help my students create a clay piece that they could finish and take home to their families to share. Starting clay in our room requires a lot of new tools needed just for clay and it is an up front cost we can not afford without your help.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
