My Project

Thank you for considering supporting my classroom! This clay will open up so many creative and educational opportunities for my students.

In kindergarten, students will explore the parts of a ladybug while strengthening their fine motor skills by using their "pinching fingers"—a key skill for tasks like picking up small objects.

First graders will learn about snails, including their body parts, while practicing how to roll coils of clay—a foundational technique in sculpture.

Second through fourth graders will dive into the art of pinch pots, while also learning about fractions such as halves, wholes, and three-quarters in a hands-on, meaningful way.

Fifth graders will use clay to deepen their understanding of fractions and how individual pieces come together to form a complete project—building teamwork, patience, and problem-solving skills.

All of this is possible through the wonderful medium of clay. Thank you for helping bring these experiences to life!
