My students need these clay products so that they can experience working with a three-dimensional material and sculpture.

My Students

Because of the expense, many of our students have never had the opportunity to work with clay/ceramics.

We are a public charter school located in North West Washington, DC.

I am the art teacher for grades K-5. I currently teach over 400 students. They are creative and love being able to artistically express themselves. They love to create art projects related to what they are studying.

My Project

These clay products will allow several classes the opportunity to work with clay. Working with clay is a completely difference experience. I have a lot of great ideas, but not enough supplies. Students love and appreciate art and I would love to continue that interest.

The donations would be greatly appreciated by the teacher, the students, and their families.

Working with clay is an amazing experience and is actually the medium I most enjoy teaching. These materials needed for artistic expression will allow the students to exercise their creativity in an unlimited manner.
