My Project
All the students here need your help! This project will expose students to the amazing medium of clay, where they can build, sculpt, and create three dimensional objects. After building their objects they will need some glazes to bring the clay creations to life.
With the Manco and Sax glazes students will be able to take their projects to the next level.
Through the glazing process the students not only get to finalize their details but also experience the magical properties of clay. Turning what was mud or dirt into a personal work of art.
Without these glazes, students will not get to see their imagination come to be. The essence of pottery is the glaze whether it is because of functional properties or the mood you are trying to portray. Without glaze, a mug cannot be used, a monster will be colorless, and a creation will be dull.
