My students are in a culinary course where they are learning different cooking techniques and skills that will help them in their everyday lives and the world of work. Some of the skills they learn are time management, cooperation with others, safety/sanitation, and producing a great product. I have two courses that have approximately 15 students in each hour.
My Project
Students will create their own individual classy cookbooks. They will continue to add to as they develop new recipes of their own. They will be developing their hand writing skills as well as computer skills. The cookbook is a creative way for students to express themselves.
The project can be worked on at home or school.
The students are very excited to make their own cookbook. Cooking together is such a great activities that families can do together and especially now with Covid . These cookbooks can bring families closer together.
