My Project
This is the third annual Birdhouse/Birdfeeder project. The goal of this project to to bring math to REAL LIFE. Students will research, caluculate, budget, and measure to create birdhouses and feeders that we will build in real life in our very own classroom. Students will use acutal hands on tools, wood, drills, nails ect. and create their own house or feeder. We will make over 40 houses and feeders! The items we need to build will enhace their learning and give them the opporunity to create their vision! My students are very hardworking and love to see real world examples of math. What better way to do this than making one in real life with the tools and strategies that they will use in the future.
