Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn and hard working. About half of our class is bilingual. Many students come from low socioeconomic households. Covid-19 has impacted their learning and caused students in general to fall 6 months to a year behind a typical 4th grader.
My Project
The headphones are essential for using online resources that provide individualized instruction to students, such as readworks, lexia, iReady, epic, and state and school required assessments. The whiteboard markers help students working in tier 2 small groups as well as tier 1 instruction to provide students immediate feedback as they give their answers. We are required to clean the desks twice daily so the clorox wipes will be used to keep everyone safe while learning during the pandemic. The folders will help students organize their work to take from home to school.
